The eTrans Insight application is a tool for debugging DSRC (dedicated short range radio) device setup and messages for eTrans enabled devices. The application connects to an OBU (on board unit) over IP and displays information about the vehicle and what it hears over 5.9 Ghz DSRC.
With this application, you can:
* See vehicle positions live on a Google Map
* See Traffic lights position and time to change
* See configured speed and warning zones that are being broadcast
* View OBU Software logs in realtime
* Change OBU logging verbosity in realtime
* View details of individual Basic Safety Messages by vehicle
* See alerts for vehicle and intersection warnings generated by the OBU
* See statistics for the number of messages received, by type.
